Enjoying the scenic car ride!

Shane and I went for a drive to Riverside State park and then a short hike to see the "swinging bridge" and "bowl and pitcher." It was a nice drive and the scenic hike and views were amazing!

The Bowl and Pitcher is the most popular scenic attraction for many visitors to Riverside State Park. It is a geologic phenomenon resulting in spectacular scenery. Large basaltic knobs sit like over sized lumps of sugar along the edges of the Spokane River. (from the riverside state park website"

I am glad you had a nice day.
I wish you could have been here for our family dinner with David, Jeffrey, Kelli, Lori, Travis, Kevin, Katie, Kristen's family and Jeremy's family and of course, Heidi. Owen was having issues so Nicole left shortly after dinner. We didn't talk to Eric about it because there was no way we could have picked him up and taken him home. I really wish he could have come too though. I love you.
