I feel like we live in the North Pole. It has turned into a winter wonderland in Spokane, WA and near by areas. I woke up Wednesday to go to work and on the drive in it was just starting to snow. Shane came to pick me up from work and it had been snowing all day. he barely made it to pick me up. It took us 1 1/2 hours to get close to our house. It is usually a 10 minute drive home. We live in an area called the "South Hill." which is full of hills. The street we live off of the cops closed down and would only let 4 wheel drive or cars with chains go by. We tried going up a different hill and spun out. I got scared. We ended up having to stay in a hotel for two nights. Thursday the whole city basically shut down. We had 19.4 inches in a 24 hour period. We broke the record which was 13 inches in a 24 hour period before. The record for Wednesday before was 5 inches. The end of Thursday we had 24 inches.... yes 2 whole feet!!! It would not stop snowing so it was hard for plows to keep up even with main roads. We finally got home Friday afternoon but it was dangerous on the road we live on and we got stuck and had to be pushed. We will probably get another 6-9 inches of snow on Sunday. The snow is beautiful but has been a pain. Winter hasn't even officially started and I have already had enough snow for the whole season. I want Spring!

It will be a white Christmas in Provo too. It will be a relieve to come to less snow. We have had a big storm here too but nothing like you've had.
